Research Wave is dedicated to protecting the integrity of the scholarly record. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to rigorous originality checks.
- Turnitin Verification: All manuscripts are thoroughly checked for originality using Turnitin before proceeding to peer review.
- Strict Thresholds: Submissions must maintain an overall similarity index of ≤ 19%, with no more than ≤ 4% similarity originating from any single source.
- Transparency: Authors receive comprehensive similarity reports to ensure complete transparency regarding our evaluation process.
- Enforcement: Any violations of these thresholds, or attempts to disguise plagiarized content, may lead to immediate rejection or post-publication retraction.
AI Plagiarism Policy
We enforce strict academic integrity standards regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs) in manuscript preparation.
- Restricted Usage: AI tools may only be utilized for language editing and grammar refinement. They are strictly prohibited for original content creation, data generation, or critical analysis.
- Mandatory Disclosure: Any utilization of AI assistance in the preparation of the manuscript must be fully and explicitly disclosed within the submission.
- Originality & Citation: Authors must ensure that any text refined by AI remains fundamentally original. All underlying concepts, data, and referenced ideas must be properly cited.
- AI Detection Verification: Turnitin is utilized to screen all submissions for AI-generated content alongside traditional plagiarism.
- AI Threshold Limit: The permissible threshold for AI assistance and generation must remain below 19%.
- Enforcement: Any submission exceeding the 19% AI threshold limit will be systematically rejected without further review.
